Hello Crew!
Fall is here. Leaves are starting to loosen their grip. The days are getting a little shorter. The mornings are getting a little colder. As the changes take hold, our intent at No Easy Feet is to match the changing energy with mindful programming. Coach Steven and I look forward to taking great care of you this Fall as we begin to incorporate a little more heavy lifting and mobility to help offset the subtle drop in overall movement.
No Easy Feet in Berlin

I had an awesome trip to Berlin, Germany. Most importantly, this trip was an opportunity for me to visit my wonderful coach Franz. Though we have been working together professionally for some years now, it was my first time meeting him in person. In addition to being a great coach, Franz is a world class host. Together, we explored the city, took a whole bunch of walks through rural Berlin, ate lots of good food, trained hard and enjoyed the beautiful weather. As a Shumaker with German heritage on both sides of my family, it was cool to see where my ancestors came from. I definitely felt a connection to the land. Enjoy a little mini documentary by visiting my Instagram over at @noeasyfeetstudio.
Adam’s Trip to India and Nepal

I will be travelling to India and Nepal alongside the monks and lay practitioners from the Mt. Adam’s Buddhist Temple this October. I will be gone from October 10th until October 30th. The purpose of this trip is to become more educated in the ways of Buddhist philosophy by “walking in the footsteps of the Buddha” as part of a global pilgrimage. We’ll be visiting culturally significant sites including the birthplace of the Buddha and other locations that played a pivotal role in Buddhist teachings. While we will be spending much of the trip meditating and bonding as a community, our aim is also to use our collective funds to help benefit those in need in the areas we are travelling to. The trip’s locations will include Delhi, BodhGaya, Varanasi, Lumbini, Sravasti, Lucknow and Dharamshala. I trust that my travels and lessons will instill me with a higher skill as I continue to serve my community in my fourteenth year as a full-time trainer.
Coach Steven will be presiding over the studio in my absence. If you need to contact him for bookings, he can be reached at (541) 280-9947.
Due to a tight schedule, there will be no community events this month. I will look forward to seeing you all in November.
Palms together,
Coach Adam

PS: It’s usually an Adam tradition to watch one spooky movie every night of the month in October. Since I’ll be travelling most of the month, I am sad to miss this tradition for the first time in five years. I invite my students to enjoy one in my honor this month. If you have a favorite, I’d love to hear it. Feel free and reply to this email or let me know next time you see me.
